It may sound like an unusual collaboration, but garage/bassline legend Zed Bias aka Maddslinky and UK live afro-electronic project Afriquoi got into the studio for a couple of very intense sessions in Manchester, UK over summer 2023. This is the first of several tracks, on ZB's own IFG (I Feel Good) Records. The track features Nico Bentley on live bass, Jally Kebba Susso on tama (talking drum), and guitarist Fiston Lusambo stepping forward on lead vocals. Fiston explains “the song is telling about a person who is always rude to people and in this song the adults are telling him the result of his bad behaviour which made him become a failure in many domains of life.” Hard lessons but important!!
